I think it’s tacky to tell people how they should grieve and honour the memory of their dog. And I think it’s tacky to suggest they are narcissistic for not instead donating that money to a better cause. I’m sure you make a lot of unnecessary purchases in your life when instead that money could be used for something

You probably have some spare money in your bank account that could be donated as well - don’t tell other people what they should or should not do with their money - it’s gauche.

I dunno, I’m okay thinking it’s bad to fully elevate pets to human status and act like your dog is literally equivalent to a human being. It’s especially awful if you’re equating your loss of a pet or a pet’s medical hardships to someone loss of a human family member or friend or human illness.

Hasn’t AbFab always been offensive though? The way it portrays gay men and lesbian women. The way all women are portrayed as vacuous, high maintenance bitches(it’s high fashion so probably has more than a grain of truth.) I mean talk about bad stereotypes!! They have a white woman playing a Japanese man ... sounds

Bleh. About all I could generate was a little giggle at that statement from him. Not feeling the “humiliation” this inflicts. When a ridiculous human being says something ridiculous, and people who were already ridiculous cheer him on, how much damage can those words really do to others if they aren’t a direct call

I thought as a kid that before color video, the whole world was in black and white. Not just movies.

I agree. Most of the time it’s gross, but pets are a thing you need the permission of anyone you share living space with.

If the people on the list are too dangerous to board a plane, why are they walking around free? Why are they not at least in custody, being questioned?

Neat idea, but there’s no way this law would fly (pun intended). The Supreme Court would overturn it on the first go-round.

The no fly list is a secret, no visibility into who’s on it or why. Seems like a real bad plan to restrict firearm purchases based on a secret government list.

The only part of the original framers’ intent that the uber-armed give one shit about is the phrase shall not be infringed. Other than that, they don’t want to hear about muskets. It’s odd, this why do we give a damn what the dead white guys originally intended position is one that is often employed by folks with

So you’re saying I shouldn’t trust the cops who said that the guns and drugs were planted? Im so confused!

It makes me so, so sad that queer women have to clarify that we aren’t MRAs when we speak out about the abuse we’ve suffered. LGBTQ violence should be seen primarily as our valid cause, not some MRA boogieman.

Dating is one thing. When you are married, there is really no reason to be totally alone with someone who is not your spouse.

Very much, but still just as true. It’s not like this is a demo from some unknown start-up pitching a revolution like SOLAR FREAKING ROADWAYS. It’s from a company so entrenched in their industry that their name usually used by people as a generic term not even realizing it’s a brand name.

People might kill for personal gain. But nobody loves their shareholders enough to kill for them.
