Vulture is definitely one of the MCU better villains. At least Keaton was great in the role.

Yeah, but that was more short set-ups / mentions. The film was largely lot about the action & setting up the first meeting / plot of the team.

Think of Toronto as the cheap "New York".

The first movie didn't really rehash origins though, it was just about the characters meeting up. The sequel does have more better personal scenes, since they don't have to step-up how The Avengers first met-up anymore.

Up there with Camp Dollhouse.

Nah Ultron wasn't The Joker. He was more about the classic technology man vs. machine, yes he made quips of course, but there was nothing in that film that made me think. He wasn't simply about chaos & disorder anyway.

Well there's a lot of other things to get angry about then a simple film, yes.

Fist-bump dude.

Spader was excellent, so I can't say I agree with you on that, and the technology stuff not making much sense is actually what I like about it, since it's so comic-booky. I agree about the bloated bit, but that didn't bother me that much.

Oh I agree, there are way too many ideas happening in the film. I think a lot of them aren't very well-handled, but I do like a lot of aspects of the film, plus seeing The Avengers team-up at the end was great, even if it felt like a retread of the first fight.

Lets just say, we're all idiots.

I know, you can love your stepdown & still dislike his taste in films. It just means you guys have disagreements, as long as your not throwing punches, it should be alright.

"It's crap, but you might enjoy it, please watch it!!"

No thanks.

True, I just don't think Marvel was willing to do that, outside of Thanos, they have no interest in building up their villains. I actually liked Ultron as a character at least.

Well I don't know if I liked it as much as Iron Man 1 or even have rewatched it as much as 3, but I like it fine.

However Carter was a weak speaker & not very good at getting the dems together, at least that's the impression I got from people who were around then.

Doesn't sound like you two saw eye to eye when it came to comedy.

I actually like Age of Ultron… ducks into a corner.

I'm furious, furious I tell you.
