No. Holy Terror is just a propaganda books and Nemesis is the worst thing that Mark Millar has ever written.

That was a pretty cool movie. Actually educational and no singing princesses either.

Or worse.....

Put down whatever you're reading now and start reading RP1 and then run, do not walk and start The Martian.

Not to be confused with the pretty solid Elseworlds title, "Batman: Holy Terror."

Holy Terror is terrible and offensive, a work from a decaying man who once was great. As a fan of the Frank Miller of the days of yore, it's one of the most depressing comics I've read, not only for the content but what it also symbolizes, that this once admirable comic creator is truly lost us.

Also, download the audiobook! Wil Wheaton does an EXCELLENT job narrating it.
It's worth it JUST for his Sean Connery Highlander impression.

I bought Nemesis yesterday and finished it too. It's only my second (grown up) comic ever but I figured it was fun. The tag-line "what if batman was the joker" isn't really a good one, more like "what if the joker had unlimited resources and batman didn't exist". I recommend it.

You won't be sorry for long!

They are all lies. The book reads like a list of nostalgia stretched into book form and the story is very weak and poorly thought out.

Now playing

If you're curious still, Atop the 4th Wall did a nice video about it...

Wil Wheaton reads the Audiobook and it's a lot of fun!

Having not seen Man of Steel, I'm going to pretend this is a comedic moment. It probably isn't, but sometimes ignorance is bliss.

Frank Miller has completely lost it (and it's debatable whether he ever had it), but Holy Terror was the straw that broke the misogynist xenophobe's back. This came out around the same time he was calling Occupy protesters thieves and rapists. It was kind of terrifying to go back and look at some of his earlier work

Nemesis is good. If you can step away from the character being a fusion of Batman and Joker its a fun read. You have to remember this came out almost right after Kick Ass and their was some pretty big hype for this comic. It did not live up to it and I avoided it based on reviews. But I saw it for sale one day and

Imma gonna let you finish...but pika pika.

Holy Terror is really bad. It's xenophobic conservative wish-fulfillment propaganda. Even setting aside the political aspects of it, it's neither well-written nor well-drawn. If you really need to see how far gone Frank Miller is, it'll take you about ten minutes to read the whole thing in the bookstore aisle. I
