Agreed. 1, while fun, original and funny, pales in almost all aspects to 2. Even the environments were more fun in 2. And now I must go speculate on a cast lol.

No one’s called Sam a chunk of wood or something yet? Man, the mean ones are off their game today.

Exactly. Even when there was extra plot in the games it didn’t interfere with the main quest. It was always a very simple premise with an astounding amount of personality.

I know he probably isn’t, but has anyone seen Leto in there?

Brick could work as a Drax like character I guess, but that’d be about it. I did like 2 better castwise. If they could work Ashly Burch in there somehow that’d be awesome.

Have him show up in one scene, say a few lines and get shot. The shooter says, “Damn, he was annoying.”

Big disaster?

Odd question, but would you prefer Borderlands 1 or 2’s cast used for the movie?

He has the capacity to crazy lol. There’s a lot of people I could see in that role IMO.I saw Bruce Campbell suggested around here. That’d be pretty damn fun. I also saw Sam Rockwell suggested.

Knowing our luck it’ll be Hitler mech.

Eh? Eh?

Best be, dammit

If done right, this could be amazing. Mad Max style craziness with space ships and robots and aliens. Relentlessly funny and irreverent humor. While not my favorite game series, it has one of the best game worlds I’ve seen (as far as worldbuilding and that go). Video game movies are very... rarely not terrible though.

You and your horrifying GIFs will be missed.

I... I think I love her.

Sage advice. Like “Y’all best run because I’m gonna’ save you, but it’s gonna’ be messy.” And. “Stop nuking shit.”

Godzilla doesn’t guest star in your movie, Godzilla makes it his movie.

The TPB cover immediately made me think of Samurai Jack. I’ll give it a go in my next comic haul as I just bought too many lol.

Have you read Ronin? If so, how is it?
