Even after a second play-through, I couldn't bring myself to do it. I watched the YouTube spoilers of the alternate endings and they're surprisingly disheartening.
The part in GTA V when Franklin had to choose which friend to kill had more of a dramatic oomph to it. The game held you responsible. CoD had the chance but missed the train.
Kim Kardashian's butt.
I wonder if 'No Russian' would have still been included in the game if MW2 was released after that terrorist organization in Africa slaughtered people at the mall.
Yea. If it's a matter of glorifying the senseless killing of innocent people, it would have any lasting effect other than being in poor taste. Back then CoD tried to have some semblance of a storyline.
My initial reaction was along the lines of, "well, shit, they really went there." It's interesting how we're able to turn off the empathy based on which game we're playing.
Movie-Zuckerberg was made to look misunderstood, well-meaning, and surrounded by idiots. Now that I think of it, that's the image IRL-Zuckerberg perpetuates. Only now, the users of FB (and our data) are the idiots. What level of Inception are we in again?
"No Russian" could have been better, but it also could have been a lot worse. What I thought was brilliant is that it the concept of the mission toed the line of what could really happen. Is it so much of a stretch to think that [insert global superpower] could get framed for an atrocity against humanity?
I haven't given up on expecting a decent storyline. I've come to expect exceptional multiplayer, and the storyline being an overblown training mode, but I hold onto hope. I'm not saying the CoD needs to be on a Metal Gear Solid level of storytelling nuance (wouldn't mind it, though), but they could, y'know, try harder.
Shit burgundy or baby blue, maybe?
C+? I'll admit that South Park has been struggling to find it's rhythm this season (extremely hit, or 'meh' of a miss), but this mildly complicated episode was hilarious. I like the concept.
Have a seat. You're going to be all tuckered out if you can't keep pace.
Let's not forget the hospital administrator and top surgeon being kidnapped and tortured due to their connection to the club.
I feel as though the show got silly the moment Abel was kidnapped and taken to Ireland. The stupid has crept in gradually from that point on.
I laughed entirely too hard at that.
I call BS on that as well. I doubt Marks would have allowed that if he weren't locked up.
I'm tired of talking about this show, but I will continue to watch this train wreck until emergency services arrives to pick up the pieces.
Ha! Agreed.
I want a spinoff of The Marks Organization. Their dedication to order, adherence to personal protocol, and acknowledgement of good business ethics, is far more interesting than SAMCRO at this point.
