That is awesome.

How is asking your neighbor to repaint their house because you dislike its color any more unreasonable than asking a neighbor to move their legally-parked vehicle simply because you dislike its appearance?

OK, neighbor, I’ll move my trailer. But I don’t like the color you’ve painted your house, and your shingles are too dark. So you’re going to need to address those.

This guy chose to live in an area where he had the right to do whatever (legally) he wants with his property.

Of course the counter argument is that you are basically dictating how he should live his life based on your whims and desires, i.e. YOU’RE FREE TO DO WHATEVER YOU WANT AS LONG AS YOU DON’T DO ANYTHING I DON’T LIKE.*

Is it really worse than: I bought the property next to this, so I get to decide what happens there?

Both are selfish. Only one is unreasonable.
I mean, seriously, why does the neighbor get their way? On what logical grounds is trying to control someone else’s stuff LESS selfish than saying, I get to control my own stuff?

People are greatly exaggerating the impact of this election.

It’s not like F1 is flooded with new sponsors (check out McLaren blank space) so it’s strange. Also if he’s so politically motivated maybe he should speak out about racing Bahrain too next year. I doubt he will though.

Sorry. I’ll go mess with the Deadspin crowd. That said, Stef and Raph’s political articles that had a vague mention of something car related were fairly ridiculous. Not because they support a particular candidate but because politics really has no place on an automotive website unless we’re discussing how each

Shit gets cheaper, the more of them you sell.

This should be required reading before anyone comments on the price of these rounds...

Looking at the close states, be sure to thank those that voted third party (the coward’s vote) for that.
I take issue with this, the primary third party votes when to Johnson, which undercut Trump’s own votes.

perhaps if the DNC had opted for a genuine middle ground candidate instead of a pair of old establishment

There will be endless reprisals and recriminations, and they will all do approximately zero good, so I will try to avoid them. There’s more than enough blame to go around. But for one dark night (morning), I will indulge. You’re exactly right. The fucking goddamn DNC and their miserable godfuckinggoddamn triangulation

So we should pollute MORE to get the oil to its destination by using huge ships?

It’s not through the reservation, it’s outside of their land.

The pipeline doesn’t cross or touch the reservation at all.

If you live in the east coast, the south, or the gulf, they already go over all of your water supplies. Google a map of pipelines in the US. They are everywhere.

Pipelines are cheaper and safer than shipping by ship, train, or especially road. This is not to say they can’t be dangerous (obviously they can), but if cared for properly the risk should be low. Also keep in mind that while you’re seeing these problems with this pipeline, and probably not hearing about issues with

Why? Pipelines are safer than tankers.
