First thing I thought of when I saw Bonemare.

Bonemare is still way too strong on a fundamental level and a mere 1 mana cost increase isn’t going to fix that. Being able to immediately get 4/4 value on top of the mare’s 5/5 next turn AND giving a minion of your choice taunt is just too much, especially for an epic card.

Credit to Namco for getting their heads out of their asses, but the real groundwork was all Arc System Works pioneering the design with Guilty Gear. I think they are the ones that deserve credit here.
