Do you have a source on that part about Nintendo saying it definitely isn’t a successor to the 3DS? I haven’t heard anything anywhere near definitive.

The Switch is (probably?) A replacement for both the Wii U and the 3DS.

Respawn is a good developer, plus they are already working on a Star Wars game. They will be fine.

I have to be totally honest, the reason it surprised me was because of how much less I’ve heard about it than most of the other games on the list. So my surprise shouldn’t be taken as a slight to the game.

You bring up a good point. the article seems to assume that the right idea was going two-screen because the system sold do well. but it may have sold just as well without it.
