@gods-n-clods: The battloid mode is definitely there for the reasons you specified, and the VF-1S is a sexy sexy piece of (sadly fictional) equipment. I just think that because you sit in it, rather than wear it, it is technically not power armor, it is a mecha.
@BongoFury: I guess thats where Rifts got its SAMAS power armor....
@gods-n-clods: My understanding is that anything that has a completely enclosed cockpit (your limbs aren't inside its limbs) is not technically powerarmor. But by my logic the mech suits from avatar shouldn't count either. So i may be operating under different rules than the editor.

The crusader series was pretty special
I'm glad that John Dies at the End got mentioned above. I found several parts of that book genuinely unnerving. Currently House of Leaves is slowly unraveling my sanity, but that book gets mentioned a lot, so no new revelations there.
That was remarkably funny and just a little dash of kinda awesome.
