Yeah I think the "Don't tell her you love so much" was some kind of tip, and I agree, Oleg represents everything Arkady hates, jumped up son of some powerful father, a bit westernized and jaded. I also like the little nod to Popular Mechanics (Soviet Scientist working on Stealth back then said they learned most of

yep, those and left handed pens, scissors, house doors and refrigerator doors (did you know than can be switched) etc especially doors are a pain as left handed people will try and use our left hand to open and smack ourselves in the foot often.

You know somehow they are going to end the season with the Doctor, getting 10 million for his startup.

His lines about his wife and Gin were perfect, such grand condescension through hand flips and gravity defying hair,.

I think maybe using him as the knuckle-dragger uncouth American stereotype, may not be a bad thing with this cast, especially since he is supposed to be a blunt object/heavy; but the "I'm a Maritime Inspector" bit was pretty slick.

I am really liking the divergence the show is taking from the books, storywise it makes sense for a weekly show, as some of the grand minutiae of the books would drag it down; I think some of the flip flopping of the characters is a bit odd, but it is interesting; In previous seasons I was merely a bystander, watching

Big plus for your D.B. Cooper avatar! The funny part is you are dead on about Dickens, he was a was one of the first "Pop Culture" mavens, He wrote weekly columns in several newspapers, he commented and wrote open letters all the time to critics and fans alike. So in some ways he truly was "looking for sales"

Yep the Flash is in watch list, I hope they follow the "Arrow Formula" for making a good comic book hero show.

LOL I have a couple of those! My whole family is left handed (me, my mom and my sister) so my poor father had to live in OUR world at home.

Oh sorry I misunderstood. btw I found an free epub copy of that book. This is a good site for out of print epub copies http://www.general-ebooks.c… I may take a quick read of this it sounds interesting
Thanks Tasha Lem

Oh that sounds pretty good, except the U.S. did lose the Alamo for real, it became part of the battle cry for the Republic of Texas against the Mexicans (Texas was part of Mexico then) and they won their freedom because of that loss, and eventually became part of the U.S. (some of them there think they are a Republic

it's sad when they have hide these facts in plain site, the show Continumm which is a fun show, made a big deal about being Canadian in their first season, but I have noticed hey have toned it down for the most recent one. I am glad more shows are flying the Maple Leaf, since most genre shows are filmed in Canada

Yeah his motives are shadowed by something, and I don't think it is just his past crime(s) that he is worried about, he has a much deeper connection somewhere.

I though they mentioned Toronto early in season one as one of the main cities.

the actor himself is probably left handed (so not sad) , but the fact that they are making Helena left handed, and I think Tatiana Maslany is naturally right handed is pure awesome attention to detail, very few shows would do this or even think about it.

what, what, where???? ok it hasnt aired in my time zone yet

"a decent episode of Orphan Black is like 5 time better than anything else I watched on TV this week."

Oh wow did not even think of that. As a left handed person myself, I am happy and disturbed by this.

Yeah, the Cadaver Totem was one of the most crazy, bizzarro scenes I have ever witnessed from anything, whether from television or a movie. I am big fan of British Crime Dramas, and whodunit's where every detail is explained during or at the end. So for instance this last episode had me going nuts.

I completely forgot that Fuller did Pushing Daisies, what an awesome show, that had great potential, too damn bad the network didn't give that one a chance.
