Ohhhh this reminds me of Dirt! My mom makes chocolate pudding and puts it in a flower pot and fills it with gummy worms then tops it with Oreos. I actually hate gummy worms though and I prefer ice cream to pudding so yours sounds better!!

I hate to jump in with what might seem like a trollish comment, but I prefer regular oreos.

Vaccines are victims of their own success. Most Americans don’t know someone who had polio as a child and has been dealing with the effects for decades, but they do know someone with a child on the autism spectrum. If 1 in 68 children died from mumps in 2015, there would be no doubt as to the value of vaccinations.

You should be proud of yourself, too. Both of you lost children but have continued to survive. Unbreakable, My Dog Is A Pirate and southerngothick are strong as hell.

The problem, if you will, is that our generations haven’t seen a pandemic up close. One where it didn’t matter what you did, who you were, where you lived, made any difference.

I lost my baby, too, though not to SIDS. I wish I’d had the wherewithal to punch in the face any random fucker who had “advice” or “suggestions” for me. 14 years later, and I still have to hear bullshit from morons.

honestly I envy you, my parents weren’t really big on the sweets either but I developed that on my own and now sweets are my kryptonite, i am pretty sure that soon all my sweet tastebuds will just give up and say “we can take no more”

True story: I made a batch of these for an office Christmas party and over the course of 2 days ate the entire batch by myself and had to pick up grocery store cupcakes to bring instead.

Ok so... much like Otto, my dad was also vaccine-injured. My dad contracted polio from the polio vaccine, and narrowly escaped paralysis or death. It took a decade for him to recover his weight, and it was nothing short of miraculous.

Many years ago I lost my first baby to SIDS. This was a couple weeks after her first round of vaccinations. A person pointed this connection out to me shortly after the funeral. I hit that person in the face.
