I have, but I don’t own it, which would be awesome. You really should read Wicked. It really spins your perspective. It’s brilliant.

I believe I have watched that movie nearly every year of my life, at least for as long as I can remember. That’s a lot of years and a lot of love. It never gets old, although I seem to, and the flying monkeys always freak me out. But, having now read and seen Wicked, I now view it all somewhat differently.

Not a rainbow song, but a powerful song in its own right, Leslie’s You Don’t Own Me. My favorite of hers.

OMG!! GOOD. GOOD. GOOD. GOOD NEWS!!!!! When will I ever learn to stop posting by phone? It's just difficult to juggle a laptop and something else. Drink. Smoke, etc. Yep. Totally guilty. Fuck.

Walter Wolfman Washington. A Ninth Ward, NOLA guy. Great local musician. I've seen him countless times, once in a bar where you could drink, dance, and do your laundry at the same time. As a poster said the other night, New Orleans is a grand city. Yes. She is.

Erg, you’re on a great roll. Here’s Coldplay. What The World Needs Now. I’m thinking about the goof and bad news today with a heart full of hope. My son is joyous as am I for him and many others, even those who don't realize equal means just that.

Horror, supernatural, and such. Hell yes! Thanks. I will def be reading that one.

Impressive. That actually creeped me out.

For the gif. Seriously. I must have watched it a dozen times.

That is no longer the law. Most states, including Texas, I believe, now have a true life sentence where the convicted may not be paroled. Ever. Life in prison means just that.

You left off disfigurement. That seems to play a role.

Bravo, Erg. Something to ponder. Great passages.

Elvis Costello. (What’s So Funny ‘Bout) Peace, Love, And Understanding. I think it's a rhetorical, ironic question that I think about a lot, especially when I'm told I'm too idealistic.

My old neighborhood. Great post. You’re not talking about Tipitina’s per chance? Greatest club. So much great music, and you never know who’s going to stroll in. Of course, there are other great bars on Tchoup. Kudos to you for spelling the street name correctly.

I read your birthmark post. A voice of reason awash in a sea of anger, my friend. I thought the 60s had meaning but I just don't know. Sysiphus comes to mind. It's not just South Carolina, either. But you just can't give up. I appreciated your post. Just wanted to say that.

I had a final, that was your course grade, in law school, with one question: “Why?” If you answered, “Why not?” You got an A. If you answered “Because,”you got a B. It didn't matter what you wrote after those first words. And, we students wrote until time expired. That professor was torturing us, teaching us a lesson,

Did you post it? I'm not seeing it.

Just one more, Please Call Home. I've always been a huge blues fan, and they were one of the first blues/rock guys that spoke to me. Like so many that burn so bright. I'm thankful, though, to listen and recall my youth through their music. Fg hell. I'm in a mood tonight.

Dammit. Can’t edit for shit. Thanks, Window. I saw them at NOLA Jazz Fest many years ago. They were awesome.. Everybody was a dancing fool.

Yay! I wanna dance in fluent Spanish!
