Be-bop. Need you ask me? Really. Really? I don't know shit about shit, but Jimi forevah. Dude.

Takes a friend to be a friend. This looks like a great friend/friend relationship to me.

So, you’re suggesting there’s a possibility he’s unfamiliar with her and/or her body of work? Pun intended for the pun challenged. On the other hand, maybe role casting needed to specify “big tittied women.”

Yeah, pretty sure he knows.

You are. But really, considering how much LSU hates Saban for leaving and going to Alabama, that kind of makes the joke funny. So, there you are.

You're pretty much doomed, my friend. Destiny and all that.

And yay to Brick House! Thanks for remembering.

Tupelo Honey is wonderful. Van Morrison to be worshipped. This is great. Great post.

It's a good excuse to stay inside and try to ignore what I should be doing. Tennessee is getting it tomorrow thru Saturday. Yay! Breaking the heat, I hope. The farmers are looking forward to it as well.

I'm headed the other way. Packing to move. In the summer. South. Whew.

Awesome teacher! I have shamelessly grooved to this. The bump? Yeah, baby.

Yeah, Barney and his ilk, looking at you Dora, were shit. Kids really could learn from Sesame Street. Always a fan. Always.

Very nice and one of my fav tunes. Summertime is just a beautiful classic. This cover is sweet.

Haha. You be trippin. Tell me the writers weren't. I watched this with my son back in the day. Later, he watched catdog with my mom. Yes, my mom. She thought it was hilarious.

Now playing

Brick House. The Commodores. 1978. If this one doesn't make you want to dance, well, ok.

And you will forever be stuck in the greys where few will read your compassionate, reasoned post. The pitchforks are out, ready to skewer this woman, whose parents gave out her telephone number to the media, which they admitted while making their own media circuit. So much wrong. So many questions. So much hate. So

Lord Have Mercy. Sweet horn solo, too. And pics. One with Tammi Terrell. I think. Thanks. Great post.

I went back, found it, and the Soul Train performance says 1974. Tammi passed in Spring 1970, so it’s a mystery. Quick research reveals he released What’s Going On in 1971, and Gordon wasn’t thrilled, to say the least, with anti-war, protest songs on his Motown label. That’s all I’ve got, and I don’t think that’s it.
