That blew my head.
That blew my head.
Santana. Soul Sacrifice. Woodstock. Great footage.
What a good friend considering what a hit it was for them. Great damn song.
Ok, I think we agree, but you confused me.
Bravo. Wit supreme. I must disclose I recently broke down and purchased an overstuffed chair from ikea, only because I liked it, and it came with a 10-year warranty. We shall see. Most of the pressed wood products, though, nope. Definitely nope.
I have straight, fine hair and had those same perms, same year! Never took to my dismay as I always, even to this day wanted the “natural, curly” hair look, but got the fried, perm victim look instead. I finally gave up but still look with envy at those with curly locks. Genetics can be such a bitch.
Old cat owner here. I feel you. Mine demands new food every time she decides she’s hungry, even though the “old” kibbles were put out mere hours earlier. And, the dining room light must be on regardless of the time she decides to snack. She has no sight issues, just demands. Sigh.
My initial thought as well. Ah, weekend reading.
Nope. Definitely not an LSAT question.
Edit to add. Maybe you can't. They're both pretty trippy. I might need to take a seat.
Myself as well. But as a young teen, well, you can guess from whom I learned that magnificent swearing song.
And then there are young Gawkerites who know nothing and aren’t ashamed to show it. Get off my lawn!! We are not all Ozymandias.
Curtis Mayfield on Soul Train. Maybe not as socially relevant, and not to be confused with a different song, Pusherman.
Dyan’s written so many. Some good. Some great. I never thought he could play harmonica worth a damn. And, I get that he’s not for everyone. But maybe, maybe, we can respect the contribution. Great post. Thought of you reading about the Jazz guys.
Had you simply uttered the word, “gravitas,” you could have been neither more deserving of this star nor more accurate in your description of the man.
You’ve Got A Lot Of Nerve. Bob F’g Dylan
Great post. Can’t get away from the story that I won’t comment on here. But one I will speak of is a thread on the Iggy post this week where it was said that Bob Dylan will be forgotten when the last of the boomers passes. The youngs, so eager to display their wit, seem so ignorant at times, described him as a…
And Lee in the Mummy movies. Egyptian scary tales!
I love all the old B horror flicks. Dracula, badass that Lee was, was my fav. Lee will always be the best Count. I thought the Hammer films were f’g awesome, and still catch them when I can in all their Gothic glory. Special effects and blockbusters today leave many unappreciative of the great Bs made on low budgets.…
Engineer, huh.
