Autocorrect. Mumble, mumble, mumble. I’m just thrilled YouTube or kinja or the music gods no longer are vexed, and embedding lives again!

Great tune! Much rain here, but it was water in liquid form, so progress.

The great thing about baseball besides beer and hotdogs with mustard and relish, they play a lot of games. Stay thirsty, my friend.

Great song. But, they all wanna be no. 1.

So, every time I think of Supertramp, I think of The Baby’s. This is because they are both on the playlist of a certain time of my life. No other connection. Many of you may not know The Baby’s, but maybe you know John Waite. This video is fun; take a look at the fashion and try not to hoot. 1978.

A little respect to the passing of Bob Burns, original drummer for Lynyrd Skynrd, escaped the fateful plane crash, dying in a single car accident Friday. I read he was a giving, charitable man. Simple Man, a really good song. Be-bop, don't know if you recall our convo last week about musicians passing, but your words

If that’s the case, it’s more than incompetent, perhaps something worse. Wouldn’t you agree or is that your rather fine point.

Edit to add: and fuck due diligence.

I seem to recall some of your comments, at least that they asked questions, and some responses to you were nonsensical, accusatory. I’m just really glad I got out of journo when I did. Ethics is just too old school now.

Not likely to happen from criminal charges if you mean your accuser is found not guilty. You have a measure of protection unless it is found you knowingly made false reports/allegations as Jackie did. Last week a man in my court got 80 years for child rape. And in my years of practice, I’ve seen not guilty findings as

All my star. Just commented before I read your post. When the questioning first broke, I commented about the story being single sourced, journo ethos, poor editor oversight, and the effects that could have on rape stories. Yep. Blasted and dismissed. Not an apologist but a former journalist appalled at such a shit job

And many commenters (former journalists), myself included, got comments dismissed or really mean responses or even worse called rape apologists for attempting to address the lack of journo ethics and basic reporting, because rape.

Borderline incompetent reporting? Really. You jest. Yes, you do. And, if anything, this fuckery makes rape stories even more difficult to get told.

But, by his own words, his non-apology, what he said, he said in jest. Your understanding is not his context.

At the very least, he didn't appear to be in a jesting mood, so non-apology at best.

You know he pondered exact placement. Maybe tried them in various spots, mirror checked, moved them around, checked again. Finally, perfection. Championship perfect. Looking like the winner coach he is. Like.....ok I’ll stop now.

You are a dedicated teacher, and that was a tough predicament. I salute you.

Yep. Imma vet. Locking your knees will do it every time, especially if you're standing in the sun. Great dedication to show up after the ear thing!

Wedding pics, then? Poor you. Not the best day it was supposed to be. My cousin fainted during her vows at her formal wedding, but she recovered and continued after a brief break and smelling salts. Your sad tale deserves way more stars. Damn.

Those guys are all my music heroes. I have a portrait photo of SRV that a photog took for me at the NOLA Jazz Fest shortly before his death, I guess close to that gig. Wish I could see Clapton again. He’s talking about retiring, and at 70, who could blame him. Hell, my favs, and myself, are all getting along. Damn.
