Thank you for your comment. My son, now 39 and still very much ADHD, was a child of Ritalin. It saved him. He went from an F student, hated by his peers and everyone else around him, to a very active A, personable student and grew into an adult without losing himself to the horrible effects of the imbalance of

I have a cd Robert Johnson collection that is amazing. But, I also dig tributes by Clapton, Led Zeppelin, and others who reinterpret his music, keeping it alive.

Listened to then all, stars from my soul.

Saw them live once. Memory fails, was Papa Joe with them?

Good to see you, Erg. I am unable to embedd, so I just dropped by to say hello. Love me some ?Jackie Wilson and friends.

Just saw your post. I’ve fallen on my sword after 30 minutes of utter embedding failure. I went to an Anne Frank contemporary ballet last night (daughter needed a chaperone). Returned drained only to find a wonderous Eric Clapton tribute, which I def needed. Yay DUAN!

I seem to be unable to post the actual song/video tonight. Are you having issues as well?

Thank you for acknowledging and recognizing myModest Proposal.

Well. You got a lot right and a lot wrong. As a former public defender, I'll just leave it at that.

Absolutely agree with you. As a former asst. public defender, I can tell you that kind of practice has the greatest impact on indigent women. But, regardless, it is a slippery slope, and I believe unconstitutional. I practice in TN by the way, privately now. Great post. I can't understand how anyone could believe

Apparently the new DA agrees the practice should not be continued and has ordered his staff to stop. A voice of reason among those who wield a mighty sword.

Why not just kill her outright. And start IQ testing girls, sterilizing those whose scores fall below a determined cutoff before they have the opportunity to procreate. This seems like a way to avoid all that.

Plea offers are not per se coercive. True. But it's hard to roll the dice on jail time because you never know what a jury will do: will jurors follow law or emotion; whose evidence will they give the greatest weight. A plea avoids the uncertainty of a guilt finding. And, not every defendant is guilty. Moreover,

Glad you cleared that up.

And now you just bulked up the sentence with parentheses, which should be used exclusively in legal documents if at all. Crazy stuff.

Now playing

As is said, "Youth is wasted on the young," or something close. Love that song. Here's another. Hope you like it. Lyle knows life, love, and loss, I think.

I had no idea. I do recall the disaster. Now that I have context, I will listen and watch again. I expect, know, it will seem even darker. Thanks for the response.

Sir, that was awesomely disturbing, both the music and the video. I feel trauma. In a good way.

Window, you are such a romantic soul.

All my stars for SRV. All of them.
