I vaguely remember the Pizza Hut buffet. I remember discovering they had dessert pizza, and I had never encountered that ever in my 8 years of life by that point. I only got to go to the buffet once, with a friend’s family. It was amazing.

I’ve been on the Penn train since he was in that weird-ass WB show, The Bedford Diaries. I looked it up, and that was 2006 - the year I graduated high school. Then he was in John Tucker Must Die, and I definitely noticed. Then Gossip Girl was a year after that, and I’ve been following his career ever since. He’s…
7th grade was my very worst year in school, for so many reasons. Pen15 has managed to capture a lot of those awful feelings in this bottle of a show, and I am HERE for it. I was so impressed and charmed by the first season. Season 2 (this first half, anyway) feels different but in a good way. More difficult stuff to…
In my school (I graduated high school in 06), the Holocaust was introduced early to us. I vividly recall reading Anne Frank’s diary in 8th grade. By 10th grade, we had a whole few weeks dedicated to learning more about the Holocaust and we all had to do a special project about it. I can’t believe kids aren’t learning…
Oh god, my friend growing up ate butter and mayonnaise sandwiches. I’ve never gotten over it.
Miracle Whip is an abomination. Mayo wins, all the way.
100% agree. The first time I had the crispy M&Ms as a kid was a revelation.
I got suckered into the free coffee thing from Panera earlier in the summer. My dad signed up and needed 2 others to sign up below him from his link - and then we’d get free coffee. Mine and his has been extended through October. I don’t go too often - but when I do, I typically get iced. I dump my own creamer in it…
I’m 32 now, but have had a colonoscopy when I was 26 or so. The prep was not the most pleasant, but the procedure was a breeze. I noticed no side effects after waking up, either. I go to the gyno yearly... have had pap tests that sometimes have some abnormal results but thus far - my gyno isn’t worried so neither am…
We had ours and it was pretty good, honestly. We wrapped it like crazy in a million layers so it stayed fairly protected throughout the year. It wasn’t perfect but pretty close. It was a pumpkin spice cake that my cousin’s wife made us, and it’s easily the best pumpkin cake I’ve ever had.
I’m definitely a fan of the blue box - but my husband and I have decided to elevate our mac & cheese cravings this quarantine season, and have taken to cooking the Kraft Deluxe brand of mac & cheese. More creamy, better noodles. We give it a hit of seasonings (mainly a spicy blend) and add in a bunch of chopped…
Dear lord, I want this pasta salad right NOW.
While currently they don’t post TONS due to COVID, my husband and I got really into videos from Delish. Particularly, ones that feature Tess Koman as she walks around theme parks trying various foods. She’s got great comedic timing and they felt like a soothing balm when we watched.
Once upon a time, Bowling Green, Ohio had the very best Dairy Queen I’d ever been to. I consider myself so lucky to have still gotten to experience the golden age of ice cream treats, foot-long hot dogs and crinkle fries in my college youth (aka 2007-2010). It was an independently run shop - and they had EVERY flavor…
