Judging by the grill I would say it was actually an LTD. Still hilarious that they would use this car for a "rich guy" article. Though I'm sure it was the plane in the background they were after.

The utes are still production based with limited modifications. Not quite the ute version of V8 Supercars but exciting none the less.
