Do you have any evidence that they are collecting and storing user data for sale? Or are you just assuming they are lying because it confirms your biases?

He says, talking about pretty much the only company that doesn’t take your data and sell it.

I actually just noticed this yesterday, when watching Plex on my iPad. Nifty!

As a Halo fan who hates multiplayer, loved the campaigns, and who’s favorite thing to do is team up with friends on split screen and play Halo, I’m probably going to pass for now. This review has reinforced that. I’d have to buy at least two Xbox Ones if I wanted to play with my friends, plus the game, and with people

Okay written about, written in, it makes absolutely no difference. And you know that they do that?

They’re talking about a scientific study and they are using incorrect scientific language that perpetuates flawed reasoning. It’s not a spin; theory and hypothesis are scientific terms with actual meanings.

Never miss an opportunity to bash Apple now, do you? You realize this was written in 2009 at the height of the recession. This was before iPhones had really taken off and while Apple was doing alright, they didn’t have the cash they do now.

I have no idea what you’re asking. I’m saying that they are calling a hypothesis a theory and perpetuating the incorrect usage which leads us to people claiming that evolution is “just a theory”.

This isn’t a theory; it’s a hypothesis. Please don’t perpetuate the use of those terms incorrectly in the general public Gizmodo!

One of the girls I was dating did it...twice. She destroyed two phones. She was also drunk both times.

Sweet!

Because it doesn’t mean shit for science.

Yea and this is great for people like you.

The battery has to be big and flat though. Most of the time it takes up the entire back of the tablet. Also if it’s not weighted properly it will be very unbalanced as a tablet.

Maybe. Until they figure out how to solve the problem of storing the battery in the screen they’re all going to have the same problem. Additionally, adding complexity adds cost and failure points, so a simple laptop and a simple tablet, which can continue to drop in price and be more powerful, might win out.

Yea I agree. I’m just bringing it up because people are claiming this is the death of laptops. It’s amazing, but overstating it’s impact which is a niche market is not useful to anyone.

From the reviews I’ve read it’s also its worst feature, impacting balance and usability. Microsoft has done a fantastic job engineering things, but it’s top-heavy and the hinge mechanism makes it difficult to use on your lap. So it’s a great laptop that sits on a desk, a mediocre laptop that sits on your lap, or a

One of the worst things about tipping is that the people who are least likely to tip are the people who should be tipping the most. So it’s just a double “Fuck you” to the service industry.

I updated it over the weekend so I was sleeping in anyway. hmm.

Or just impaling them through the chest.
