I’m referring to the entire justice system world-wide. The U.S. is the one I’m most familiar with but very few take this seriously.

I’m aware of that. The drug cartels harm a small fraction of the number of people compared child abuse. The idea that someone smoking weed or even doing crack is even remotely as harmful as someone raping a child is laughable.
No. no they fucking don’t. The people who sustain narco-terrorism are the lawmakers who make smoking weed a crime. The teenager who is smoking weed is not supporting narco-terrorism and to compare it do the rape and abuse of children is laughably idiotic.
Fuck. Fuck Fuck fuck. So we have non-violent drug offenders serving 25 years in prison but child molesters, child rapists, and those who facilitate the abuse and sexual exploitation of children get a slap on the wrist and told to behave from now. Seriously! We cry about ISIS and ebola which kill so few Americans it’s…
The seller can absolutely give the buyer feedback. Most of my feedback on eBay is as a buyer, not a seller!
One of the main reasons I use Apple Maps is because it integrates well. This makes Google Maps more tempting.
Oh I agree with that. They should enforce the carry-on policies better and weigh them and measure them. I always make sure my bag can fit facing out in the carry-on bin and my second bag can fit under a seat. If they’d enforce their existing rules and charge the people who break them, this problem would go away.
Some of it will be, yes. It’s called margins. Some of it will be rolled into lower ticket costs because airlines are a highly competitive business and being the cheapest, even by a few dollars, allows you to fill your planes. An airline would rather have a full plane of cheap seats than a half filled plane with…
I never check a bag. At 6’2” I struggle to squeeze into the increasingly small seats, but I remember when seats were bigger and tickets were more expensive. These are businesses to make money and if customers are willing to squeeze into smaller seats to save a little money, why not do it? It annoys me but as long as…
You should definitely share or add a fifth...you know, depending on your preferences. ;)
Oh so you’re looking? ;)

I hate it when people lie to support something good or true. It undermines the credibility of the entire premise because people tend to throw out the baby with the bathwater.
In this economy? Right now it’s the best time to be job hunting. Employers are scrambling for good employees. Sure, in 2008 this might have applied (still bad advice BTW) but now definitely not!
That’s a legal term. It has nothing to do with actual innocence or guilt. If I murder someone, I’m considered legally innocent until proven guilty (in and of itself a misnomer since “proof” is a mathematical term and nothing can be proven). IN fact, I’m guilty of murder the minute I murder someone, regardless of what…
Yea we required deposits. The worst case was when people approved a costly repair that wasn’t recommended, it didn’t fix the machine, and then they didn’t pay. The machine was worthless as collateral because it wasn’t fixed. Still that was rare.
Thanks for this! I feel like you had very similar experiences to me and I recognize a lot of those same fears.
I feel like I can relate to so many of these from retail computer repair. People not realizing that they aren’t our only customers and that there was a queue. I kept hearing “If the repair will only take 2 hours why is it going to take two days?” Well because we don’t just sit around waiting for you to come in.
