I know this is because I was more of a Stargate fan than a Star Wars fan (blasphemy I know!) but when I first saw it descending I thought it was a Wraith hive ship.

So is Chuck-E-Cheese still in business? Or was there just an explosion of popularity before the apocalypse? What I'm asking is, should I be buying stock in Chuck-E-Cheese and/or stocking up on the tokens?

I agree. Hopefully they do soon.

FaceBook doesn't care about it's users. It wants to keep them as a viable product that they can sell to their customers: advertisers. Forcing users to use their real names doesn't help the users; it helps FaceBook and advertisers. Once you look at it from that perspective the things they do make a lot more sense.

I miss the documentaries too. However, they have to play to their audience and they need the ratings. If they can air a bunch of shows like Pawn Stars (which I actually like) and Vikings (which I also like), it will give them more money to make documentaries. At least it's better than the SciFi channel having

There's a lot of evidence that indulging in these fantasies and keeping them as fantasies makes you less inclined to actually commit them. Most people who commit horrific crimes don't indulge in the fantasy of it; they are quiet about it until they do it. I'm sure there are exceptions but the internet is littered with

Will you ever get on Quora.com where NASA employee Robert Frost and former Astronaut Clayton C. Anderson answer questions. I love asking you guys random questions and having that as a resource would be awesome. Plus it's a lovely site.

To save millions of lives and billions of dollars every year? Yes, I'd be willing to give up the dubious joy. I learned to drive at a very young age in Montana were driving was a necessity. I can see manual driving being thing in the country still but where the vast majority of drivers drive and who drive with their

The sooner the better. Given how much reckless human driving costs every year, I'm surprised more money and research isn't being funneled into making this happen sooner. Letting humans drive cars is going to be remembered in the future as being one of those things they can't believe we actually did. When you think

I just bought an Apple Cutter for cutting apples and since I make mashed potatoes all the time, this is ingenious. Thanks!

I think it's the latter. Especially with the strong supporting cast it just made him less...exceptional.

You're forgetting why Streaming wins every day: the ability to watch what you want when you want. I grew up without TV so I never had to schedule to watch my shows; by the time I started watching TV TiVo was a thing. I just can't wrap my head around making sure I'm around to watch my shows. I also love binge watching

Oh I agree.

How I Met Your Mother lied to me!?

I absolutely agree and that's why I got the 64 GB. I love my phone but I hated that I was basically forced to pay an extra $100. Like I said, great business but terrible for their customers. Still, I just wouldn't go so far as to call it a bait and switch. I think they're pretty upfront about it.

If you're going to do a comparison at least do it fairly. In order to be comparable it needs to have the keyboard on it. So change your comparison to price that in. It's still cheaper and your point is just as valid, but you come off less like a Microsoft shill that way.

I wouldn't go as far as to call it a bait and switch; the 16 GB model is fully functional and will work fine. However, most people are choosing to upgrade.

That's not why it's a smart business move. By having a 16 GB model they are able to advertise as "starting at $199" while knowing that most people are going to upgrade to the higher one. They make more money either way.

I would love this job but I don't have experience. :(

It's also cheaper, keeping Apple's trend of making cheaper, older products as low-cost entry points. Apple knows their biggest asset is their customer loyalty. People who buy Macs and Apple products tend to stay with them. So if someone buys a $800 MacBook Air, someday they might spend more to get the better screen.
