It's not really. Except it eliminates the card. Sure, you still need a wallet but a lot of times I go for walks with my phone and not my wallet.
" After all, it'd be way harder to get people to use the CurrentC mobile payment system if they already like a competing phone-pay option."
Thanks...my mistake.
Epilepsy for 9 years here...your friend will likely be fine. If something comes on screen that is going to trigger a problem, they should be able to close their eyes and be fine. In all honesty though, just ask them.

I've wondered...we need some kind of small but rich nation like Denmark or something, to put their entire budget behind getting off planet. So that the resources of an entire nation are focused on getting off-world.
I actually don't own any but as an Apple Tech working for an Apple focused organization, I deal with them a lot. I use either dumb boxes hooked to my TVs at home for Plex, or my Plex Media Server which has AirServer installed on it as it acts like the only good part of an Apple TV.
Because voters and most people are too shortsighted to care. We care about the economy and job creation because these are issues we can see, touch, and feel. It's hard to get behind the "in 50-100 years this will be catastrophic if we don't do something now!". It's one of the main reasons certain things shouldn't be…
Weird...I clicked on one and it came up as Flash.
Ugh they're all flash though. Still, can't look a gift horse in the mouth. They're still pretty cool.
Good for you! I mean, I definitely agree that it's more polished and I think it has a lot of potential. If it fits your needs, then great. I typically recommend a Roku to my friends because you can install Plex.
You make a good point.
Well except I've used Chromecast and it's spotty at best. From a computer anyway.
Does it support Plex? I almost feel like Plex should partner with Roku or someone to create their own themed box. Of course, Netflix recently broke their Plex streaming plugin so that sucks.
Apple TV's only awesome feature is AirPlay. Otherwise you're better off with almost any other streaming box (and this is someone who is firmly in the Apple camp).
I think it would make a great HBO show or miniseries. A well done miniseries would be the way to go.
We need a good Jobs movie. Because love him or hate him (or both) his story is a fascinating one. And the movie they made was terrible.
"Tokyo Prius."
Interesting. Thanks for the information.
