Agree on a cab (and auto transmission) being a deal breaker. I think the 996 cabriolet is the ugliest iteration of the 911 ever. Actually, I pretty much hate any ragtop 911 from the 996 series onward. 993 cabs and earlier definitely have some retro charm.
