It's probably because I'm an old guy who played the originals dozens of times as they came out and bought a Gamecube specifically for RE4 and the REmake, but it's mind blowing to me that someone would need these kind of basic tips for playing this game.

My favourite FPS of the year was definitely Wolfenstein: The New Order. Brilliant hark back to the 90s era of FPS with over the top violence and focus on 'run and gun'. Also had a surprisingly solid story and brilliant visuals which definitely made it a must have.
