Yes the demonizing of the pill—something that allowed women to actually control their own destinies. Typical Mormon/Evangelical nutbag arguments.

Uh, okay. (Runs off to check the interwebs) The one of him crashing through the window and kissing Molly was awesome! (It's the hands, yo.)
That one is raaaaaaawr!
For fucks sake woman, just give him a knighthood (or an OBE or something) already, the man is not getting any younger.
I watched a documentary recently about an English "glamour model" and her unconventional family. She had just birthed a new baby girl and was holding it in her arms. She leans in and whispers "Welcome to the world, baby Papaya." I was like :O
Hey but you don't want to put evil chemicals in their bodies. :P
I mean, I know it's easy to reflexively hate on companies that have a profit motive in people's misery, but do you really think big drug companies see treating measles mumps and rubella infections as a way to improve their profit margins. I'm just guessing here, but I'd be surprised if there's a lot of money to be…
I hear there's a gold mine in smallpox patients.
I work in Big Pharma. I sincerely wish that my boss's boss's boss's boss was as smart as conspiracy theorists think he is.
Fuck you, Seattle is the "Emerald City"! That is our nonsensical nickname! Washington rules! :-)
I live in Portland. This is every day of my life. Thank you so much.
Except it's not just about them being in school. I'm assuming that they went out in public. Look at the case in Texas where it spread in a church.
I imagine they make way more money off chronic conditions that you have to take meds for every day, though, than the kind of illness you get from the diseases we vaccinate for, where you probably recover within a few weeks or die. I doubt drug companies really care about much more than profit, but I don't think…
Oh, you want after hour vaccine clinics? Take it up with the AMA, they are rich enough. I worked for a vaccine company, and I can tell ya, there is no vaccine conspiracy antibiotics and basic antivirals do not make money in the current market, all the (meager) profits are going to the generic companies; the only way…
There's a difference between delaying vaccinations and refusing them altogether. Those kids are going to get their vaccinations by kindergarden (or earlier if they're enrolled in a daycare/preschool program which is where they're most likely to spread some kind of disease). Having access to vaccinations doesn't seem…
But every state has a program with the health department. For those who are poor they are free, but even for those who aren't poor they're affordable. I got my kids vaccinated at the health department because our insurance didn't cover well child exams (before ACA). I think it was $10/shot.
I live in a cheap, no Obamacare-having, ignorant-assed red state. Free vaccination clinics are absolutely everywhere. They are available in every single county. The pharmacies even do them for free. Cost is not the issue.
Well that's a new angle on the Big Pharma conspiracy! Usually the anti-vaxers claim Big Pharma makes money off vaccines that's why they force you to get them. I can't wait to start replying to those types of comments "No, you've been had by Big Pharma, they're behind the anti-vax movement to get everyone infected and…
It depends on where you live. A lot of places offer no cost, low cost vaccinations accessible to most people (Like in NM when I was a kid we were poor and went to some places where some nun gave me my vaccinations?). I don't think this is a big pharma conspiracy as much as people actively not vaccinating for whatever…
In theory, I would think like you do if you are wearing a bathing suit or leotard: pull it to one side, hope for the best and wash you hands thoroughly.
