People who have lost family members who were POWs MIA have nothing but those symbols. They have no body, no grave to visit, no ashes to disperse. Is it that much to ask that adults be respectful of these families or are we all a bunch of toddlers with no impulse control?

There is a group of skater boys that live in my apartment building. They are probably between the ages of 10 and 15, and 5 or so of them skate together after school every day, frequenting the sidewalks and areas where I walk my dog. Actually I've read that serial killers are "proud" and sometimes like to boast about how many people they have killed.

Not only a delaying tactic, but a way to get outside for a bit. "No, I can't give you directions to where we left the body, but take me close by and I will remember the spot".

And many times it's a delaying tactic. If there are more "victims" out there law enforcement has to investigate. Investigations take time depending on the number of victims. If this bitch parcels out the "details" it could delay her going to trial for a long time. Husband and wife serial killing team. Damn!!!

Usually it takes days to weeks for the pregnancy hormone hCG to leave your system after a miscarriage. After a natural miscarriage, the cervix is also open for a while - so if she was seen by doctors soon after she allegedly lost a pregnancy, yes, they should be able to tell with a fairly high degree of certainty.

I read the linked article. She claims most of the other murders took place in Alaska, a place where a lot of people with sketchy backgrounds go to "disappear." Seriously. Are we supposed to believe that she suddenly forgot how to cover her tracks? I mean, some of the mistakes they made are things that you can learn not to do from watching fucking Law and Order. I don't buy it.

She doesn't even need to be lying. She could be delusional.

I call bullshit. She's probably just stating this for the infamy. She was so sloppy in the one killing she was busted for, what are the odds she actually killed 21 other people and didn't get caught?

Also possible that she thinks saying she's responsible for those murders will affect her treatment in prison. Because they would want to learn the details, etc, about her crimes which would give her bargaining power.

Especially the rare female serial killers. But, hey, you never know!

If past cases I have read about are any indication, probably (and hopefully) less.

Plus, the whole satanic cult thing makes me take anything she says with a huge grain of salt. I'll admit, she went very old school with that one.
