I like her music too. But if her music sucked, this racist shit still wouldn't be okay.

Yeah, as a petite woman, I have to order almost all my clothes online too. (And I still end up tailoring them to fit.) I'm fine with Target offering plus-size clothing online only. But they shouldn't offer their designer collections without any plus-size sizing.
RABBITS AREN'T RODENTS. They're lagomorphs. Bunny nerd out.
Yeah, for a long time I was very confused about PMS. Is it PMS even though I only feel horrible *during* the M? It didn't help that I had an extremely heavy flow, which my mom thought was normal because she had had one too. Now I'm on birth control, hallelujah. I still get DMS but it's way less.
Farmed rabbit is still more responsible than a lot of farmed meat. Rabbits reproduce like...y'know. And they take a lot less living space, and their poop is great organic fertilizer (no aging required).
I am a rabbit owner and I don't have a problem with Whole Foods selling rabbit meat. (Yes, I have eaten rabbit a few times.) However, if y'all don't have a problem with Whole Foods selling meat from animals that are pets, you also shouldn't have a problem with WF selling dog meat and cat meat. Just saying.
Why won't you eat cats? Serious, not trolling. Is it because we classify them as pets? If so, rabbits are also pets.
Pardon my cat ignorance, but why is blowing in a cat's face bad?
For your afternoon cry, here, read about the work the North Central Shelter Intervention Program in LA does to help keep pets with their owners:
I hear you. I didn't mean that there are NO good reasons for having to give up an animal.
I've been on at least two sides of this. I got my dog at 5 months from a private rescue, and it was, not lying, more involved than getting my security clearance. (The guy who did my security clearance called zero of my references. The rescue called all of them.) I lived in an apartment at the time but worked nearby…
Ha ha! As if unclean menstruating women would be allowed in holy places like church. That's a good one.
'bit too short to pass as pants' —> ta-DA! ankle pants! Wear with ankle-baring shoes. ...I guess this is only if your workplace is casual like mine.
Good question! Petite sizes are NOT just shorter versions of regular sizes, or at least, good ones aren't. Petite sizes have an entirely different shape. Think of a blouse that's designed to fit wider over the bust and narrower at the waist. That assumes a certain length between bust and waist. You can't alter that…
I'm willing to believe she's gotten better at performing (and her recent televised performances that I've seen have been pretty good), but when she was touring for her first album she was teeeerrible. Unenthusiastic, walked offstage during the middle of a song with no explanation.
I love this album, while I merely liked her earlier stuff. I saw her live when she toured for her first album, and it was underwhelming. But she's got deliciously weirder, and less precious. The David Byrne collaboration was amazing, and it looks like she's picking up hairstyling tips from him as well.
My husband would never dream of hitting me, I could never imagine him directing any sort of violence towards me, but if he gets even mildly angry at something, I immediately become afraid.
Chastise me if you want, but to this day all three of my kids are extremely well behaved, well mannered children that I can take to nice restaurants, your elderly aunt's home or on long plane rides.
Dry shampoos come in tinted versions. I know bumble&bumble makes one. I don't buy them because they are expensive though. I just try a bunch of different cheap ones until I find one that brushes through my hair well.
Calista Flockhart. It's obvious if you google some of the words he used to describe the setting. 'Bambi' is a good nickname for her.
