My experience with 90s BMWs has been that they’re shockingly easy to work on. Most everything is easy to get to and I haven’t run into a job yet that required any BMW proprietary tools like some of the other Germans. I’ve had greater challenges working on Hondas both from the same era and modern ones.

Don’t believe It. There are definitely models that are a nightmare to maintain, but they’re not all bad. For example, I’ve spent less on my 20 year-old, 140k mile z3 in the first six months of ownership than I did in the first six months on either of my Honda accords which were both much newer with 100k fewer miles.

Counterpoint: I bought the cheapest z3 I could find earlier this year. It was a high mileage, high-school-kid-owned example that had no service records and had been pretty beat on. I’ve put about 7000 miles on it and haven’t spent more than 500 hundred dollars on it (new top, transmission seal, and giubo bushing).

Dude painted three circles and wrote fast on the side. I’ve seen more inspired art crusted on the underside of an unwashed toilet seat.

How of dude’s outburst is due to him thinking his girlfriend wants to fuck every dude she hangs out with and how much is because he thinks no man can hang out with a woman without at least wanting to fuck her? The former comes from sexism and the latter comes from him projecting his own experience to others.

*using federal money to pay trump to license his name.

You’re not wrong, but come on. The top seven are HEADQUARTERED in typically blue states, but the majority of their operations are not in the same states they’re headquartered in. I agree that both sides of the political spectrum are complicit, but the implication that your making is deceptive to put it nicely.

Yeah I was thinking Volvo from the looks of it. They’ve been testing it since 2008 apparently, but didn’t demonstrate it until 2014.

It’ll probably work a lot like the already existing facial monitoring systems out there. I think Mercedes was the first to use it back in the mid-aughts. Could have been Audi.

2nd hear is what electric cars really need; a common charging infrastructure being developed by multiple brands. Tesla only half-assed it in that sense. They created this great charging network and put their specs out there for everyone, but by not developing it with other brands they were essentially saying, “our way

Yes, but only after murdering someone in cold blood and/or wearing man Uggs.

For like two thirds of that, I thought you were just making the most contrived “annoying Patriots fan” joke I’ve ever heard.

^ This. On my phone it opens another tab and then won’t even let me watch it without signing up for fucking twitter.

Wouldn’t you though? I’d have left after two days max. 6 years is way too long for a funeral.

You’ve never been karting have you?

NOx is a catalyst for production of O3 (ozone) which is a large contributor to atmospheric heat retention. The main concern with NOx is smog and acid rain, but it is very much part of the climate change conversation.

But this is the internet...

It’s a recurring theme too. Literally every version of the Forrester has great visibility.

I addressed that in my comment, specifically when I said automatic watches don’t require gravity to work because motion is what powers the self winding function. Gravity is in fact just acceleration and you can achieve MUCH higher accelerations just by moving your arm around. They aren’t as effective in space,

I’m currently wearing one of those actually. It’s the only type of metal band I like anymore. Excluding of course death metal bands.
