“We only have one colored in our town.”

I’m starting to get Michigan and Mississippi confused.

Doesn’t Michigan have hate crime laws? Why isn’t that racist behind bars (after he pleaded guilty to aggravated assault)? Oh wait... it’s fucking rural Michigan, which may as well be Kentucky.

Everyone in that bar:

Dr. Oz laughs while saying his “harshest critic” is his wife. Considering all of the above, we sort of hope that isn’t still true.

The whole system is built to reward miserable cunts like Kotick for failing upward, while the rest of us who actually do the fucking work still struggle with basic necessities.

We need laws setting CEO income caps. We’ve passed the point of absurd. Fuck this, fuck the rich, and fuck anyone who defends the idea that a single human “deserves” this level of wealth while the rest of the country plummets through one once-in-a-lifetime economic crash after another.

I’m waiting for the inevitable “THIS ISN’T THE REAL SNYDER CUT!” after this movie disappoints.

I wonder how soon a #RealSnyderCut campaign will start.

Oh, it won’t go away for a while. There’ll be followup articles about Snyder stans throwing hissy fits about the negative critical reaction; articles about how many people ostensibly watched the Snyder Cut on HBO MAX; articles dissecting weird moments and easter eggs; at least one For Your Consideration article

My one hope for all of this: I never have to hear about the fucking Snyder Cut again. I generally try not to yuck other people’s yum. I get that Snyder’s style is not appealing to me and that’s fine. Enjoy what you enjoy.

But damnit I am tired of hearing about this fucking thing.

Here we go again. It’s 2009 all over.

By making life difficult for Joe Manchin until he cries uncle. Go on TV in WV talking about how Manchin wants to limit who gets a check. Kick him off of his committee assignments (or pressure Schumer to do that). Sign executive orders slapping sudden regulations on businesses that Manchin and his inner circle are

LBJ frequently called up congressmen and senators and strong armed them into voting. He would horse trade with them and get provisions placed in legislation that they wanted in exchange for their votes. Bush 43 also whipped votes. Sometimes people change parties, but legislation got passed. I just don’t think Biden is

Instead of blaming the bullshit far left and their “defund the police” rhetoric which scared a lot of white people into voting for Republicans in key senate races you blame Joe Biden?

So instead of blaming Joe Manchin and Kristin Sinema you throw this at the feet of Joe Biden? Instead of blaming the bullshit far left and their “defund the police” rhetoric which scared a lot of white people into voting for Republicans in key senate races you blame Joe Biden? Instead of blaming all those people that

The Dems are their own worst enemy. They’re constantly negotiating against themselves and the GOP/Nazi party just has to sit back and laugh.

They should cut the foreign aid and support to business over profit cap, but it sounds worse than it is. If you are still making 80K as an individual or 160K as a couple, you do not need an extra $1400. The joke of the matter is the people that have no income or have lost a good percentage of it, will have only

Nice to see Dems negotiate with *themselves* to come up with a worse deal for their own constituents. I mean, seriously, what did that even get them? They “saved” $12 billion out of a *$1.9 trillion* bill for what? That’s a literal drop in the bucket that is going to come back and bite the party in the ass.

I hear what you are saying, but how do you think Joe could get it passed without Joe effing Manchin? It is a 50-50 senate. The only way I can think of is to promise some pork to West Virginia (Manchin being an old school pork belly politician), which might be a deal breaker with other senators.

imagine what it’s like being the last person to be president of the united states before the fascists took over forever.
