Difference is that you can actually buy a base Challenger with no options. That’s not the case with the model 3. The base no option model at the 35,000 price isn’t going to be available until 2018.

The issue isn’t that options cost extra, it’s that you won’t be able to buy a version of the car without price increasing options until 2018. The base $35,000 car simply will not be available at launch.

Seeing as how there will literally be zero models available that start at $35,000 until 2018 at the earliest and the only model that can be optioned is the long range model, the original headline is accurate.

I don’t hate fake vents, and I would carding never in a million years take the time to write a blog post about them, but if you’re going to take the time to design fake vents, why not take the same amount of time and design functional vents?
