I'm kinda ambivalent about dating in general. online kinda worked for me in the past, but I sometimes get hung up on some internal moral quandary where I feel like I'm judgmentally window shopping for people…

it's a weird thing from a perceptual standpoint… different people want different things out of libraries of course, but much like churches functioning as a de facto community center in smaller communities… these things change over time in subtle ways.

pointy headstock? I wonder if the rounded ones would be marginally less painful.

if I wasn't such a cheap bastard, maybe Spotify would work for me, but idk… I still mostly prefer buying CDs. I guess that ship has sailed though, and it won't ever be coming back in an affordable fashion, with the sole exception of the occasional multipack anthology release.

I couldn't even make it through the standard version of that movie…

I miss working at the library :/ not sure if it's a North American thing, but it sometimes feels like the profession is going through an intermittent identity crisis.

is this… normal? ish?

I was 85% sure that wasn't true, but still had to Google it to verify.

not to mention that stuff that grabs my attention tends to hold it in thrall for awhile. I gloss over things that don't seem particularly interesting and let whatever's in the forefront sink in a bit.

I guess the curse is that it's what's selling (in terms of click through and ad revenue generation from eyeballs)

the real solution to overpopulation, folks!

it gives coin slot a whole new meaning.

doesn't white meat practically demand to be marinated or fairly doused in a sauce of sorts? even then, I'm not that keen on it.

it always impresses me how people manage to keep up with all the music out there. I have a loose list in my head of stuff I should seriously check out but generally forget to for ages… and that includes boatloads of classic albums and artists.

unfortunately yes. eerily similar to the Cosby situation in terms of scale and being a somewhat open secret that only really got attention many years later than you'd reasonably expect.

at least his career and reputation is ruined. shame his dad passed beforehand though.

darkly amusing. good stuff

pretty sure they'd be sued for defamation just for the implication.

how edgy!

you fixed it though! that's something to be proud of :)
