I think it's sometimes an acquired taste thing? can take a few listens for it to sink in, or at least elide the bombast or oddness of the surrounding production.

it's an incredible documentary. very haunting and human, heartbreaking in the best kind of way. I don't watch many things once, let alone twice, and I've watched it a few times.

I bought Overwatch since I met a few people at a local board game group that play. it roughly coincided with the launch of the Switch though, so I played a few games with them, but it kinda fell apart as people's gaming time went into Breath of the Wild.

I like parts of With Teeth, but it's kind of a letdown after what we were expecting after awhile, I guess

Overwatch wears really thin for me quickly, from a mechanical standpoint. I can't say that it isn't well-designed, and Lord knows the personality in the art, level design (set dressing and palette mostly), and the characters themselves (particularly the voice acting) really sells the whole shebang.

goddamn. any quality cured meat is already a showstopper. had some cappicola on a sandwich at lunch, elevates the hell out of everything around it.

fair enough. the gap between me realizing Loveless existed and what the fuck is wrong with me, why didn't I listen to / buy this sooner and mbv's release is around a decade or so.
