oh, I know that. Scientology is a straight up scam with a whole whack of unethical practices lifted right out of the cult playbook. I don't know how it hasn't been utterly dismantled and crushed by more governments around the world at this point.
that just makes me think of poultry innards and various ways to cook them, though…
I think the fact that strip clubs are blatantly about extracting the maximum amount of money out of someone's wallet, ostensibly without actually, erm… "delivering" on the promise (or at least, not legally) in most areas, kinda makes it the most sleazy and dishonest of all enterprises.
I never really thought about it that way, given that the concept of owing someone something in that regard is pretty gross on the face of it.
not to be too flippant, but isn't a lot of witchcraft (possibly in the modern sense) tied in with nature worship and maybe modern paganist movements?
every time I read the phrase "dance the blanket hornpipe" in your missives, I crack up. keep up the good work :3
I'm guessing communication is key? I sorta kinda had one happen once or twice, but other parties weren't very communicative, and it didn't work well.
I think people have a tendency to misinterpret the whole thing as a lurid ego trip, as opposed to what could be a fun and distinctly unique (or at least different) experience shared with multiple people at the same time.
I hate to admit that I can kinda grok how that "nice guy" bullshit comes about. I mean, that's a disposition I've definitely had since I was a kid — trying to ensure I don't rock the boat socially too much, going along with things, etc. which can come out in unfortunately passive (or passive aggressive?) ways — but it…
I require several to function at a basic level in most social situations. :/
my super half-assed answer would be — sometimes.
as someone prone to similar ruminations, I sometimes find it helpful to try and remember what the link apples shared below says: people generally won't think too much of small interactions like that, and if you keep it pretty low key and light, you're skewing in the right direction.
it's entirely dependent on the particular game (and more or less genre) that you're playing.
yeah, there's way too much filler on Life After Death.
I suspect the answer is… money?
there's a correlation there, it seems
that's awful :/ ugh
marinades. it's the difference between eating a "slab of fish" as you put it, and actually preparing food for a meal.
my god, this sounds amazing
