that is hilarious.

he's still around! very underrated though

honestly, I'm pretty sure it's great at what it does. it may not be perfect, but games from that era generally aren't by today's standards, in much the same way that the original Legend of Zelda was insanely oblique and difficult when I played through it in the late 90's or so.

it's weird that Wario in Mario 64's weight and movement is the only "holy shit, this is perfect" feel for powerslide / drifting in arcade racers ever.

Psychonauts is one I played for the writing more than anything else. can't remember if the art style would hold up super well, as it's from the Xbox era. I seem to remember it being okay on PC?

that's what's happening everywhere, actually… if a glance at metacritic is anything to go by

I like how Bojack Horseman ripped into this business model as the B plot for an episode or two :)

I'm 28, and that's still an amazing joke.

would've also accepted Smashmouth's All Star

I'll have to look that one up. I'm a huge fan of "back to basics" recipes and the like.

I usually start there when looking up recipes. I use computers enough on a daily basis… sometimes I just want to have a reference book and not screw around looking stuff up.

didn't know it could go any lower, tbh

I went out for karaoke one night and the person running it had inserted a note along the bottom of the projecting that clearly stated "NO JOURNEY — DO NOT ASK, YOU WILL BE REFUSED"

I'm a sucker for Joy of Cooking, as that's what my Mom has always had lying around.

how would they even measure something like that? seems ridiculous.

sometimes tie in stuff can be really effective. a really well done origin story comic book got me into Supernatural before it went full head up ass after the initial arc

I didn't even know he did Blade II til the recent feature. I have a soft spot for Mimic as well.

funny, because I plan on watching that for the first time some time soon. (needles unnerve me)

yeah, fair enough. I find the whole zillions of dollars per movie to be ridiculous, but that's just how it goes

thoroughly consistent?
