I do think it’s a pretty foul thing to not disclose. The other person couldn’t give informed consent, and now has an incurable STD. Even though this plaintiff hasn’t yet tested positive, I’m sure she can prove emotional suffering, which has a price tag.

Also, most doctors won’t even test you unless you have symptoms. I found this out once when I requested a full panel STD test. At the end of the day I was only tested for HPV, HIV, chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis.
