I’m from the South too. I think there is a difference in wanting to know who you have in common. I do this too. He was definitely always trying to figure out who was “somebody”.

His character was as close to a villain as that movie could get...and deserving of a comeuppance...but I’ll probably still cry with whatever they’ve chosen to do with his storyline. Can this just end up being a major cross over where Andrew’s character gets rejected by Keira and heartbrokenly moves to America to assume a new life under the name of Rick? Would 100% watch.

I think that movie is silly in general and the cue card scene is one of the worst things ever done in an allegedly romantic movie ... and somehow the trailer STILL made me want to see the special.

That music is Pavlovian, even on a funny trailer I got choked up.
