There is no “pro-Mets” or “anti-Mets” paper. All major papers are more than happy to report on, and pile on, the Mets whenever they do something stupid.

Imagine if Matt Harvey had stolen a laptop in college and taken money to move from a jr college to go to the SEC. Imagine if he played in the NFL and had shot himself in the leg whilst out at da club. Imagine if recently he had been driving 30 miles over the speed limit, with suspended license and no registration.…

Next thing you know he’s going to consistently get jammed at the plate and hit bloopers over second.

Is there anything better than “anonymous players” ripping on their teammates?

Which paper is pro-Mets in NY? I look forward to “anonymous players” backing Harvey and saying he’s done nothing wrong.

“Russian happiness” is an oxymoron.

Yea saving the suspension for the days he wasn’t pitching would completely defeat the entire point of suspending the guy. If it wasn’t on a day he was pitching all you would be doing is fining him.

And it reads like the team is being blamed for doing what they should be doing.

You nicely laid out all of the issues that Harvey has had. But reading through here its hard to really blame the Mets for much of this at all. The dude has brought most of this on himself by continually fucking up and acting like an all around asshole.

Yep. How the fuck do you pull over 1400 people and only issue 8 tickets? Did he give out 1392 warnings?

I can’t wait for Harvey to realize his destiny and becomes baseball’s IDGAF Jay Cutler clone.
