We don't get races paused for commercials either, however, on TSN at least they show a split screen between commercial and race, with the commercial audio, so you can see coverage but just mute commercial. How is TV coverage poor? In canada we get every race on TSN with BBC announcers, and Speed or Fox(both technically fox, with Steve Matchet and the gang) races are usually shown twice on a sunday (live and replayed at a normal time) and you can always PVR it.
