The E63 AMG Wagon is definitely the one to pick. It's cool, understated and crazy fast. Now you can say I know the guy who plays drums for Weezer and I also helped him pick the car he drives. If you ever go to buy drums you should email him and see what he thinks. Just a thought.

The sport wagon or avant is the largest gaping hole. Unfortunately, they do not seem to sell well in the US. The RS4 Avant, RS6 Avant, CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake, XFR-S Sportbrake, and now the CTS-V Wagon will soon be no more. Great article, but I still don't see a reasonable way to import an RS6 Avant. I don't really want to wait 25 years. It's certainly special enough for the "Show and Display" rule, but that is just my opinion.
