It sounds great for the dog in theory, but once you have that back glass rolled down the air currents in the 4Runner send dog hair directly into your eyeballs and mouth. Then as you pull over or crash from being blinded while coughing hysterically, one of your chucklefucks ultimately hops out the back forcing you to

Woah, woah, woah, lets leave David Tracy out of this, he’s a damn fine technical writer and rust connoisseur. Bradley is a glorified internet troll with a soap box, dont let his shit posts spoil the image of fine contributers.

It’s a trade-off. I’ve been looking at a tune for my 5.0l F150, and the only thing that stops me is I don’t really want to spend an extra $600 in fuel per year.

Rav-4, CRV, or CX30 are probably the best options for this person.. Unless you live out on really poorly maintained roads, they work great for many people out here.

No, its not, liquid fuels have a massive advantage in energy density and specific energy. Applications where consistent operation at high load when weight and or space is a limiting factor are better suited towards liquid fuel powered vehicles due to the energy consumption relative to the size or mass of the vehicle.

Nice price given the condition! That said, I personally would rather get the squared off previous gen F150 with the 4.9l straight six.  Honestly, at this point I would have one of those just for nostalgia sake at this point.

All the cars I have personally owned have been RWD or a RWD based 4WD. My wife owned a base Mini with an automatic for a few years and Ive shopped GTIs and Golf Rs - a short wheelbase FWD hot hatch is possibly the most fun you can have on public roads this side of a Miata.

That refresh is fine looking!

Current Gen F150 owner and come from a Mustang family - Ford’s interiors are pretty abismal. I find the fit and finish of my truck to be abismal for what it retailed for. None of the interior panel gaps are even, there is plastic flashing left over in places, the dash has two waves in it that make it look buckled.

100% this. Thats why I never do more than a 5 year car loan and I get a nervous when the bumper to bumper runs out at 3 years..

I like it, but yeah, it looks like it’s straight out of 2003

I wanted to buy a GS 1200. BMW has zero motorcycle dealers near me within 3 hours. I heard Harley was going to have an offering, I waited with great anticipation to see an American big bore adventure bike. When I saw the concept I just.... cringed... it’s a Harley trying to dress up as an Adventure bike, not an

Exactly, a technology that works well in one duty cycle may not work well in your specific type of driving. For example, I do a lot of open road driving over large hills and valleys, what would prove to be the most efficient and economical version of the Lincoln Aviator for our typical driving would be the regular non

Building on your point - I care about total cost of ownership. I want the best fuel economy possible while keeping to the K.I.S.S. principal. If hitting marginally higher fuel economy under specific duty cycles requires more expensive technology that doesn’t pay for itself until 150k miles, I’d rather stick with the

Sorry, what were you saying?  I fell asleep after I looked at that picture.

That.... is gorgeous. In that color scheme it is absolutely stunning. I’m a little disappointed at the lack of a V8, but that power plant while still making great power is about 10 years old now, and if they can get more power under the curve and return better fuel economy in a vehicle that stunning - I can forgive it.

Well I guess I am a Rusted out, but Fun to Drive Korean Van with a Flat 8 powering the rear wheels..... You know you want the Man Van.

Yup, had I not chosen to pay off my remaining student loans I could have an extra six months of expenses saved in an emergency fund to cover job loss in my family.

Wow, you are so tolerant of people with other view points.

There should be interest free deferment for those affected by job loss. Those who have been dumping money into their student loans but still haven’t paid them off should, oh, I don’t know, finish out the terms of their agreement. It’s simple - take out a loan, pay it back. Or don’t, but face the consequences of other
