Well here’s the math for our vehicle needs: I have no commute as I work from bome, my wife’s commute is 5 miles, but this is not reflective of our main transportation needs. Our typical use of a vehicle going from our house to one of our parents, dropping the kids off, heading into the nearest town of decent size to

“Motorcycles are good. Electric motorcycles are better.”

BMW CPO warranty is no longer worth the paper it's written on. It only gets you an extra year over factory warranty. Back when CPO got you a 7 year from new warranty they were worth the premium, but now, just go find a decent used one from wherever and get a pre-buy. But honestly, once you look at the cost of

Yeah I saw that after I posted the comment.

As self professed Ford guy and an F150 owner, I admittedly know very little about the 7.3l - mainly because I don’t think I’d ever want a super-duty unless they were running on air springs.

Chevy AFM saves you so much money in fuel that you can almost afford to rebuild that top end and do the AFM delete when it ultimately fails.

Those are city MPG numbers, I think you are placing too much emphasis on a worst case scenario that these cars really shouldn’t be seeing. Most of these vehicles are going to be taken out of the garage and used for either back road driving, long distance touring, or trailered to the track.

To improve city MPG means

I wouldn’t be too worried about the city number - without a hybrid system, a V8 anything is going have shitty fuel economy in the city. I can’t imagine many Vette owners will be using their cars too much in stop and go traffic.

I do find the decreased highway number disappointing. My dad’s C5 convertible regularly gets

Umadbro?

Can we take a moment to appreciate that Mahindra offers Mattracks as a dealer installed option?!

I actually like the new front end more than the *totally not a Jeep* Grille on it previously. This is honestly a moot point. They didn’t change the mounting at all and anyone who wants it to look like a Jeep is just going to go on ebay and by a 7 Bar grille for less than $250

Hit the nail on the head with the weight difference, that’s why I was referencing the Mark V power due to the weight at the time.

Given that you are in Miami I don’t think you’ll be able to weigh on this - but can it drive more than 100 miles in a day averaging 60 mph when the temperatures drop into the 20's?

How is the balance compared to the Cooper S? - I’d imagine the battery pulled weight off the front axle.

I think Mazda shot themselves in the foot by choosing to only bring the 2.5L SkyActiv-G engine with the current generation.   It is going to be difficult to offer a less powerful engine for the same or more money.  That said, there is not a huge difference between the 185 hp and 178 hp.

Remember when the GTI had 180 hp.

I had that engine with the 6 speed auto for a rental, thought it was plenty adequate if you let the transmission use the gears. In 5th and 6th it was lacking though. Having owned a Corolla with the 1.8, the Mazda's mill is far more polished.

We got raked over the coals on our last dealer visit. On my wife’s ‘15 Golf TDI the spring oil change and tire rotation was in the $105 range, 85 for the oil change itself, 20 for the rotation. This past fall, “the oil went up” and for an oil change and swapping the summer wheels/tires for winter wheels/tires we got
