It feels like they are essentially giving us a new version of the first season of AHS, this time told as a mystery/re-enactment TV homage. Two problems with this. First we know that at least the three individuals featured in the talking head part of the re-enactment are in no danger of dying, thus eliminating quite…
They have to change the name of that show. Nobody that appears on it can really be called "Stars" with a straight face.
My vote would be for Neil Gaiman's depictions of him in the Sandman comics.
Well they are probably action slacks, which do allow a great range of movement and require no ironing.
I thought that was a little hard to believe too, but then again, he may have totally underestimated Kevin, and thought him incapable of actually attacking him…I sort of felt the same way. It felt out of character. Kevin was depicted as a man who was all talk and very little action throughout the two seasons. It…
I can't imagine John Clare is truly getting a somewhat happy ending…something terrible is bound to happen.
I was raised Catholic, but became agnostic about 20 years ago. I don't remember anything much happening after the resurrection from bible classes. Wasn't it Jesus shows up before Simon or was it Peter, and says, "Dude, it's really me, see here I have spear and nail holes to prove it", then basically disappears…
I knew in my gut it was too soon in the season for a major character like Kevin to be killed, but man I was hoping it was him under that blanket. Nothing against the actor, but the character annoys the shit out of me.
Come on Disney. Going dark for the second installment of the original trilogy went fantastically well. The Empire Strikes Back is regarded by many as the best of the series. Sure, you'll sell fewer toys, but for movie goers, I think it could be great. The teaser trailer is certainly compelling enough.
So, is having an Experts section really still necessary given they've moved beyond the books?
This was a solid B+ for me…until the final 5 minutes when Under Pressure kicked in. That closing montage was so solid, it shot it right up to an A.
The name is weak, but the biggest error FX made was they advertised the crap out of it months ahead of time, but all the ads just featured a dog wandering about, with absolutely no dialog or any sort of description about what the show was about. I imagine the majority of the potential audience who saw those ads…
If there was anyway FX could revive this production, I bet it would be a big hit.
A major software company screwing with user's email functionality as part of an April Fools joke is never going to be funny, and is just about the worst idea I have ever heard. Bogus articles, sure, but those became an April Fool's cliche about 10 years ago.
Bugged during that magnificently tragic episode last season featuring the actress who played the botanist in the movie Minority Report.
Is this the final season of the show, because it sure feels like the are headed that way with both the Jenning's and Nina's storylines.
I'm not sure that is correct. I don't believe hard disk technology had reached the speeds necessary to make them feasible until several years later. A wikipedia search suggests the first ones weren't available until 1999 when the TIVO was first introduced. https://en.wikipedia.org/wi…
Okay, that makes a lot more sense.
I know I am nit picking here, but didn't Dershowitz pause the trial he was viewing with his students? When he did that, I assumed they were watching a video tape. In fact I think there was very VCR like green lettering when he did it. Then he faxed the message to Jonny, and hit play, shortly thereafter they…
