Maybe that new "friend" is just a post apocalyptic Jehova's witness. "Have you heard the good news?"

The other thing about the balloon ride, was the conclusion was totally fake. You can't steer a hot air balloon, they go where the wind takes you, so the odds of them being able to launch in one location, and conveniently land right at the vineyard where Padma and Tom were waiting, had to be 1000 to 1. Nope, they…
For my first sous, I choose Aaron. For my second, I'll take the hot Auzzie chick, who's name escapes me. Yep, those two will get me through this challenge.
I have a co-worker who is half Thai. On her first trip to Japan, she's walking down the street in a touristy area, and some anglo dude passing by tells her "Buenos Noches". She found it pretty hilarious, as here in Texas, she's constantly being confused as being Mexican.
Actually, it may seem strange, especially here in the US, but I've eaten whole shrimp heads in restaurants a number of times, and they can be amazing, especially if they are really crispy. I think where he fell down is putting them into a soup. Textural contrast is great, but I think here it was too much of a…
I'd be really happy with a bottle episode that was nothing more than Phillip and Gabriel playing a game of scrabble begging to end. Come on Yost, make it happen.
I don't think Gregory's soup did him any favors either. Although it was Padma who mentioned the shrimp shell problem several times, she wasn't the only one with a problem with it. Here's a snippet from Hugh's excellent blog post on the episode: "His second was a strange soup that was redolent with flavor until you…
Did she get an extreme makeover between her last appearance on the show and the finale? I can't even picture her when she was in the competition.
The fact that she executed it perfectly, even though she accidentally picked up sweetened yogurt, shows her cooking chops.
Hurray for non-misleading editing. During the meals, there was more praise, and far fewer negative comments about Mei's dishes, and as expected from that, she won. See Magic Elves, was that so hard?
Same here. No memory of her at all.
The zombie fight toward the end, when they were trying to get Tyreese out of the gated community, was really beautifully orchestrated, and horribly graphic. The effects on this show, were always good, but those were really masterful.
Nick teared up a little during the finale when he won, but Bravo had to cut the footage because they were afraid viewers would freak out to see his tears were actually black tar.
Well sure, but keep in mind they basically film the whole damn thing, then decide what they want the narrative to be based on the results. With Mei and Gregory making the final two, it makes sense for the narrative to focus on their journeys. If Doug had made the final two, I imagine the second half of the season…
One of my Mexican cookbooks has a recipe for soft scrambled eggs with ant eggs. I think that is a common preparation…or as common as it could be with such an exotic ingredient.
Yeah that was quite possibly the best taking head bit this show has ever aired.
Well the thing is they aren't trying to make someone into a culinary celebrity here. It's just a competition to find the best chef each season, so personality doesn't really have much to do with it.
I was surprised. The editing seemed to suggest that Mei's avocado dish was simply way too safe to get her through.
And Mythbusters for that matter.
I thought for a minute there he was going to use it on Lana just to prove a point.
