Playoffs?! Don't talk about playoffs! Are you kidding me? Playoffs?!

Almost Compelling.

Yeah, the whole point is it's oxygen not regular air, and on top of that, physically there would be to way to attach a bicycle pump, and where would they get one of those…

I agree that doesn't make sense they could have survived that long, but if they could, well then that means that building they were living in must be in a relatively safe and zombie free zone, and if that is the case, why the hell did they leave? Lazy writing.

Of course, they'd probably have to really re-think things to pull that off, as I suspect the LCK stuff may be filmed during that period of time they take off before filming the finale.

I like that concept and think it would make it more interesting. Having said that, I don't think this compares to last seasons judging mistake. Janine really did screw up that shrimp dish by overcooking it. That is on her. Everyone has a bad day sooner or later.

Sometimes people create something so terrible, that you kind of have to be impressed in a strange way, and Andy Cohen seems to have done it. He has created what is by far the most un-watchable talk show I have ever seen. It is clearly influenced by the Graham Norton show, but he's ratcheted up the mania to the

I totally agree with the criticisms of both challenges. The quick fire was one of those ill conceived ones they come up with from time to time where weaker chefs are rewarded at random and the more skilled and organized are punished. I sort of reminded me of the the LCK episode a few years ago where Tom made them

Well, that's not really fair. I think her point is having all the contestants focus on one ingredient is fine, and common, for the quick fire, but they rarely if ever do that on an elimination challenge.

Wow, I really don't see arrogance at all. She seems quite humble to me, at least around the other chefs. One of the other chefs was even giving her shit last night for being so low key after the win.

Now I want to see a catering business called "A Complete Debacle by Hosea".

Good point on the product placement. The marketing people at Philly I am sure were hoping the chefs would make some sort of elegant dish that showcased the use of cream cheese, but instead, the more likely thing happened, and they basically looked for a place to hide it…at least in the entrees. A challenge to just

I think they sent Bene home over Sara because even though they both failed, he failed at a much simpler dish. And he destroyed those veggies, which was really the primary "farm to table" component on his plate.

I don't think the food Nina is creating is all that creative or new, but she consistently knocks it out of the park on the execution side, and with this group of competitors, that will probably be good enough to take it all. If she had a Qui or Voltaggio type to compete against I think she might be in trouble.

I think they avoided cheese cake because it is too obvious a choice and they'd be dinged for a lack of creativity.

According to Merriam Webster it is: http://www.merriam-webster….
And apparently the term has been around since 1993.
I actually like pescatarians. At least they are relatively easy to deal with when you invite them to dinner parties. My sister used to be vegan, then went to lacto-ovo vegetarian, and now she's

@avclub-d4ddd876e953431db0bb4acc027ff9da:disqus, I think you need to give us all a quick synopsis of the overall experience. How did you get included in the party and pretty much all the other questions Walter was asking.

You shouldn't put that in quotes, since that's not what she said. She said that most of the year she's vegan, but when she is entertaining she goes vegetarian, and at those times she likes to have cheese.

Yeah, most chefs really bristle at vegetarian cuisine, and go ballistic when it comes to vegan. It's just not something they are trained to excel at.

Yea, the way the show was edited, there was open disdain for both of those salads, both in concept and execution. I am guessing those arancini he made were far shittier than they let on, so as to keep some drama going. Having said that, I am delighted to see that uber-tool go home.
