Has anyone seen the extended editions of the Hobbit movies? Are they worth it or are they just more padding and slowness?

My wife and I watched it exactly once, and we ended the movie bawling in each others arms. Now that we have 2 little (girl) munchkins of our own, no freaking way we’d make it 10 minutes into the movie without bone crushing sadness since we know how it ends.

Have you tried Xtremeguard.com? They have full body clear protectors, and they regularly have 80-90% off sales, essentially giving you the screen protector for less than $.50 and the full body for maybe $1. I like their screen protectors and I use one for my OnePlus.
