Be careful if you’re doing that and plan to use the audio in any way. Some states are 2-party notification States where both parties must be aware that the conversation is being recorded.

That’s my intended use case. My work desk is a few hundred yards from my car, so a car thief would need one hell of a booster to get a return signal off my keys at work, but my car at home is 20 feet from where I drop my keys, well within range of the lowest range booster.

Have you tried Xtremeguard.com? They have full body clear protectors, and they regularly have 80-90% off sales, essentially giving you the screen protector for less than $.50 and the full body for maybe $1. I like their screen protectors and I use one for my OnePlus.
