I think more shoutouts should be given to Bowen Yang for his contributions tonight as the lounge singer and one of the Wallens. Also a shout out to the writers for including him as such with no jokes that the characters were being played by an Asian American. Pretty woke.

The only reason I can get behind it is that Maya’s mixed race like Kristin Welker, so ..

Ropinion Williams said of his time on Mork And Mindy he would often get away with foreign language profanity when he would "riff"...but wasn't sure if he could get away with Yiddish, because the Standards And Practices staffer was Jewish.

First tune was “Ball And Biscuit” from the Stripes’ Elephant album. A favorite of mine, yet nicely rebooted here, because one might complain it is too "Led Zeppelin" on the record.

Yes Dennisit feels very weird how packed these last two episodes have been. I looked at my living room clock and was shocked that Update was on at 11:20 instead of 11. I felt like the show started late due to sports postponement or a time jump occurred in  my universe.

It’s great, as if ZAZ tried their hand at European Art Films...only soured by the pedo priest ruminating about "blond 12 year old girls."

Yeesh, the plot summary alone reads like an SCTV sketch. Which is sad to consider since their great Woody Allen parody sketch was conceived like 35 years ago.

Hehe, in Chicago at least we could anticipate Bozo The Clown making an appearance.

Proof positive again that Republucans have no sense of irony, shame or comprehension of thematic symbolism and metaphors.

Wooldn't you know ir....the song was also performed this week on America’s Got Talent. It was a decent performance, but i doubt the singer will hit the finals with it.

The Agniezka Holland-directed version is excellent. I don’t understand why the world needed another adaptation.

caught up with the series over the past few days, and holy cow, how much this show inadvertently mirrors our 2019 and foreshadows our 2020.

so...they were Jedi Knights?

A Series Of Unfornate Events explains every episode, or the previous, as it begins

Looks like they remade Escape From Tomorrow.

Where’s Whoopi Goldberg saying “removing these from public view would be like denying these things did not exist”?

Same here. I dont agree with Mazzara that insertingbStephen King would be a good idea (and neither does King in prior interviews on the subject). The only thing to do is to introduce some sort of King surrogate author....the same petulant, unconfident schoolteacher, but not named as or otherwise resembling Stephen

I will point you to The Hollow on Netflix with enough twists in storyline that will keep you engaged yet shows fine examples of teamwork and compassion thoughout its two seasons....even an emotional death of a character [spoiler...it is a virtual reality death..] not too intense, good enough for 10+

I miss TV shows with "openings" and theme songs. Add Quantum Leap and The Incredible Hulk to this list.

She is turning 60 later this month, kids. 💔
