I’ve liked everything Hill has done except The Fireman...there, Hill tries to pull of his own take on The Stand with middling results. Too bad about this show.

The focus does appear to be Wizard And Glass. I and other fans are speculating that maybe if this pilot gets some legs they can develop the various elements of the series ongoing.
Well, duh! Truth be known I am a voracious King reader and a Tower Junkie. If I did not learn that the movie was being developed as a “turn of the wheel” revisit to the saga’s basic trappings, I would not have enjoyed the movie AT ALL. I enjoy it for what it is, but I understand the rancor fellow fans feel.
Well done summary! Worth noting the series run is on Amazon Prime so every “****sucking” moment can be savored before this movie airs.
Who in the holy hell is Patrick Waathers? ( guess I gotta read the article now--)
The Lost City Of Z is the first movie I saw him in (post Harry Potter) that he didnt ruin.
The wrap parties must be huge.
I couldn't help notice Kate's Sheila was giving a bit more bedroom eyes to Kristin's barfly. I mean, really giving her the eye.
House Hunters reminded me much of Monty Python. If longer, they might have opted for one built without walls. Good show, guys.
Is it sad that I had to Google Crenshaw just to find out what the hell was going on ?
If you want verisimilitude of political impressions on SNL, you have come to the wrong place.
I would also like to give this show tons of credit for the live dogs, with the alpha dog stealing the turkey on cue. THAT was amazing. At the same time, those kids dancing in the snow in their pajamas looked rather bizarre. Eh, show biz.
For all the padding that this show had (I never heard or saw the Broadway version), I am surprised they didn’t include the secret decoder ring scene. That would make a pretty funny production number—but I guess it would also be an unintentional commercial for Ovaltine.
