I first saw The Residents on Night Flight when I was like 13; and funny thing is I didn't know that 's what they were until I was a huge fan in my 20s. God bless Night Flight also for showing me Nina Hagen, the 3 versions of Frankie Goes To Hollywood's Relax, Fish Heads, Fantastic Planet, J Men Forever, Melies' Trip

House of Leaves is more of a winter read, imho, because you will be dazed and and confused but utterly enthralled by it.

Yeah, I tried it too. The flowery language turned me off, sadly.

Of these, point a is accurate.

I love the movie for its spectacle and the acting (oh but Butterfly McQueen is annoyingly cartoonish) but certainly the story is pretty stupid.

They have never fully recovered after Henson's death, pure and simple. I think he's turning loopdeloops in his grave every time they do commercials for Lipton.

Great horror novel with a horrible ending…you all may disagree, but I think Coppola's ending was great.

I count 4 African Americans out of 10 speaking characters. Lighten up Francis.

Has there ever been a film or tv show that featured a happy, more-or-less well adjusted, not killed lesbian character besides "Ellen"?

Um, she attended school in Park Ridge, just a step away from Chicago.

It'd be like Cedric The Entertainer versus Jackie Mason…just a different style..

Yup…North Korea and Russia are just waiting very patiently for what Pres Trump will do . Kids, it will not be pretty in the long run.

This isn't the best role Irons has done, but damn, he was excellent for every moment of it.

That is in the movie.

I don't know what you mean by that, but there is a short but significant scene abou a taxicab number…

Kinda a day late and a dollar short on that rule, Hollywood Foreign Press.

I will go to bat for Spy Kids 3D, even with Sly Stallone's worst performance in anything ever. Comin At Ya was a pile of craps.

The only thing I remember her doing on the show was a clever parody of Linda Ronstandt singing What's New, satirizing her inexplicable pop standards collaborations with Nelson Riddle.

The Stay Awake album is one of the greatest albums ever made…
