I told my husband I was buying a rug on the internet just now. Um. The Jill-Stein-Might-Save-Us-Rug. Shit. Now I gotta find a rug.

I think HRC is smart to have someone else do this on her behalf. If I were I’d stay as far away from this as possible. If it fails she won’t look like a sore loser. And if succeeds she might become President, although it’s probably wishful thinking.
It seems that we’re careening in that direction, anyhow. All I’ve got left is the shruggie ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Its the long shot, but the civil war thing crossed my mind also — but then I reviewed all the folks he’s planning to surround himself with, said f- it, and handed over $25.
The third party candidates had the same statistics the rest of us did, hell even Gary Johnson’s VP was stumping for Hillary towards the end. With HRC in office, we’d still have almost half the nation completely disaffected and angry, but we wouldn’t also be staring down the barrel of a worldwide economic collapse.
I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, if a recount happens and comes out in Clinton’s favor, yay President Clinton. On the other hand, I’m a little afraid that might actually start a civil war at this point.
I was reading on Twitter that some crazy dudes are recruiting a militia on Craiglist to ~fight for President Trump, and they’re threatning to shoot protesters (“racist blacks, Latinos and Jews”). On the wild chance that they start investigating the election and it’s proven that there was hacking or whatever, 1) what…
It’s a Hail Mary pass, but perfectly legal.
So, while I would love to see the dethroning of Trump ... how is this different than what the governor of North Carolina is doing right now, that every liberal (including myself) is lambasting as an affront to democracy? Or the rhetoric we criticized Trump for throwing around before the election?
My gut says maybe she didn’t ACTUALLY expect Trump to win, and now that he has she is having a crisis of conscience. ?
He is a cop, so speacial treatment. I guess we should be happy that he is in jail at all and not still in uniform, since cops are generally above the law.
With all my intuitive, witchy powers I tell you I have long believed Kanye to be bipolar. Love him, feel for him, he’s a blowhard but brilliant. Let’s try a little compassion- when it comes to mental illness, celebs are really just like us- except sometimes the fishbowl exacerbates the delusions and makes it harder…
I can’t imagine Melania has any intention of fulfilling the duties— or even an idea what they are — of being First Lady.
Not to generalize, but I’m sure most women who marry old sacks of crap like Trump are eventually hoping to be wealthy widows. Becoming First Lady must be the worst possible outcome for Melania.
“...Melania is extremely close to Baron,” the source told the Post, “and they have become closer during the campaign...”
I’m actually constantly surprised how much I’ve learned from the series.
My daughter is in 7th grade. I showed her one episode and she said this is more then anything she learned in school. It has become a weekly viewing in our house.
If I was ever a history teacher I would just show these episodes to help students understand history better.
