Ultimate Comics Gwen Is still very much alive. Since this series takes so many notes from that source material, (Blue electro, robotic Rihno, scientist Richard Parker) it could've been up in the air. This is still a terrible spoiler.

The only thing the irks me about the Amazing series is the "It's your destiny" gimmick. I figured Electro would be a mere footnote in the over-arching story for this film and from what I've been reading, I'm right.

This isn't the same Avril from way back when, when she openly ripped pop stars and had a rebellious demeanor. That's a shame. She's become everything she mocked. Guess whatever it takes to still be relevant, huh?
